Are You a Believer?

The Believers begins in March of 1989, when two respected scientists from the University of Utah stand in front of a wall of reporters; flashbulbs pop as the pair — one shy, the other cracking jokes— announce a startling claim: they can solve all the world’s energy problems using seawater, batteries, and the mysterious glass contraption they hold in their hands as they pose proudly for the US and international press. “Cold Fusion” is born. Within days, Stanley Pons and Martin Fleischmann are on the cover of Time Magazine. But, only three short months later, their careers in tatters and their reputations ruined, they flee the country and cold fusion becomes synonymous with “bad science.” An embarrassed press, a confused public who have witnessed this highly unusual science fight, and the entire mainstream science community–knowing it violates the laws of physics–all assume that Cold Fusion is dead.
But there are those who refuse to accept that. More than twenty years after the infamous event, a band of professional and amateur scientists, a high school whiz kid and a Hollywood-based internet DJ are confident that Pons and Fleischmann were right after all and Cold Fusion will save the world. These are The Believers.

LENUCO and Dr. Miley Granted First U.S. LENR Patent

News of Dr. George Miley’s, Professor Emeritus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne UIUC, U.S. Patent was reported several days ago, but the news is just starting to reach dedicated LENR followers.
Dr. Miley may have cleverly slipped one past the USPTO which has notoriously denied all previous LENR and Cold Fusion applications.  Less is more, might be the key as Miley’s application does not directly reference transmutation, low energy nuclear reactions or quantum fusion, but simply details “nuclear reaction processes.”
Dr. Miley has been experimenting with unique forms of cold fusion cells, designing electrolytic systems that use thin layers of metal as electrodes.  More on Miley and his work can be found here.

Binding Energy Will Release Us

From theenergycollective.com

Brillouin Energy’s General Counsel, David Niebauer, explains how harnessing the mysterious binding energy in the nucleus of an atom may solve all of our world’s energy problems.

Scientists have focused on the strong nuclear force due to the immense power that can be released from breaking the nuclear bond.  Less attention has been paid to the weak force, which causes transmutations and the release of energy in more subtle ways.  Recent theories that explain many of the phenomena observed in low energy nuclear reactions (LENR) implicate the weak force.  We are now at the stage where theory and experiment begin to complement each other to allow for the rapid transformation of the new science of LENR.

Zurich E-Cat Conference Video

We are still digesting the information presented at the Zurich E-Cat Conference which concluded today.  We’ll leave any conclusions up to the masses as you can now view the “Hot Cat” third party test results courtesy of PESN video:
“Many new things are happening day by day by day around this very important work.”

Zurich E-Cat Conference and Early Tests

Read the reports here.

“This report comes from two separated tests made on the 16th of July and the 7th of August, made by the Certificator and professors from 2 Universities. We are under NDA with both, but I want to make very clear that this is not a final report, because all the measurements have to be repeated many times before reaching the reliability necessary to a product. Therefore all the measurements have to be repeated many times more. We are on the right way to make a very important product, but much R&D work has still to be done.”

China Issues LENR Patent

China is seeking to transform itself from being the world’s factory into a global pioneer by declaring state-mandated measures to issue millions of new patents in the next several years.  This ambitious mandate is part of a plan to transform China into an intellectual property powerhouse, which is quite different from its current “Made in China” image.
Following this trend, Cold Fusion Now is reporting that U.S. based Brillouin Energy has been awarded a patent by China for its LENR-based boiler technology.  While no official press release has been issued by the company, Brillouin has said that they have been able to reach a maximum of 110 per cent excess energy from its wet boiler system, and that “Recent data shows that excess heat production was in the range of 110% for 2 hours.”
Brillouin is beginning to establish itself as a leader in what a growing number of sources are calling a repeatable and measurable relationship between excess heat production and nickel-hydrogen stimulated reactions (cold fusion).

Nuclear Active Environment

I like Dr. Edmund Storms and I believe him to be one of the most credible and visionary men in the field of LENR research.  He has been there from the beginning, he is patient, brilliant and realizes the scientific method will eventually solve the mysteries behind Cold Fusion.

Storms 3-Step Model
1. The nuclear active environment NAE is formed.
2. The NAE is populated with hydrogen and electrons.
3. Resonance initiates the nuclear mechanisms that cause fusion.

The energy to start this reaction may be introduced as a Brillouin Energy Q-pulse or an Energetics Superwave, or perhaps, as a Letts laser-light. Simply heating the cell like Cellani’s nickel wire reactor may be enough too.
